So far all decoded successfully in Nuremberg. The signal is strong but propagation is really playing havoc on your phase (see the peak shape in the attached plot from 19:20).

Nice going! You've got a very decent carrier here (albeit with some iono spread), and even a visible noise hump from the PSK modulation:

Been on now for 2 hours and all looks fine. I set up
a fan and the toroid and FETs are nice and cool now.

Is it normal practice to need a fan for the toroid?

DC input is rock steady at 3.78 amps which is a good sign.
I think there's enough extra dBs going out to have a
chance of an Italian decode. That's my target for this
run. I don't think there are any more distant decoders.
