Uwe, You will get some more receivers! My idea to install a VLF rx system into the tree proceed faster then i thought :-) Am 15.02.2016 22:03, schrieb DK7FC: More news: I managed to run 2 soundcards on a Raspberry Pi 2B. They are streaming simultaneously. I will install this on the tree in the forest. So one is stereo and for the 2 MF loops, the other one will be mono and for VLF and will run on request or when there is plenty of energy reserve. I will try to install an actice E field antenna there. Experiments in the past have been very promising! That was 2 days ago. Yesterday i prepared the soundcard so it can be "unpluged" and "pluged" by a GPIO pin. The soundcard consumes 19mA at 5VDC. Not much but why not adding this feature, so i can save energy if VLF is not running. See https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19882028/VLF/VLF%20soundcard%20switchable%20by%20GPIO.jpg Today in the morning i tested the loop in the office and later in the afternoon i installed both on the tree. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19882028/VLF/Hule%20Hup%20VLF%20loop%2021m%20up.jpg The loop is pointing N-S, i.e. in your direction. There will be a VLF forest grabber soon. It is also a big advantage for my next local VLF transmissions because i can observe the signal in 3.5km distance which is still the near field but far away to overload the ADC... Thanks for your transmissions. So far for now from here :-) 73, Stefan Am 17.02.2016 17:54, schrieb [email protected]:
