Hi Joe,

Yes, winter has less noise.

The best time for the reception of DK7FC at Orford was in April, during Equinox.

I have a rubidium oscillator and GPS unit and will try to set-up a receiver using them.

The set-up used last night was using an Icom R-75 and PPS for sample rate correction only.

Hence there is a lot of room for improvement.
