I was unable to decode any of the daytime messages.  The
carrier in between each message was visible occasionally but
not very strong.  I reckon I'd need an hour of carrier to
get a reliable enough measurement from which to estimate the
necessary symbol period for daytime use.

Is there anyone in VK equipped to receive coherent?  You'll
need longer symbols and therefore a longer message duration.
Will the phase remain stable for long enough without a GPS
lock on the oscillator?
