Hi Chris,

 

I wouldn' worry about that.

Assuming that you aim at 50 Ohm the SWR will be 1.1/1.

This will cause a reflected power of 0.2% (or otherwise: a decrease of 0.01dB of the radiated power).

I now have my loading coil running without a matching transformer, as
I have very slightly improved my ground. I get a Zmag of 45.6 Ohms, is
it worth worrying about? Thanks, a scan is at:
