MF,

Aaargh, that QRP stuff just doesn't work in the summer conds. All i got were decodes to distances arround 50km. Maybe it has to do with the building that is in front of the antenna. Now back to the INV-L and here i am again :-)

I'm hoping for a TA decode. I remember there were some decodes last summer on the US east coast, along the grey line! It just works in deep winter AND in deep summer.

Hi all,

I'm also playing arround a bit, using my 1m diameter 1 turn loop antenna for transmitting on 630m. The 13.8V PA just consumes 2.8A DC. The estimated ERP is -10 dBm. The loop is pointing to 310/130 deg. Running a 100% cycle with that small signal.

Reports welcome :-) Best distance managed so far was PA0A, a few months ago. Someone from the UK, maybe?
