I'm using for remote operation of my SW TRX:
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B005FY61MM/ref=ox_ya_os_product_refresh_C
Ok,it costs a bit more than "a few" euro.
But the wireless microphone works really well, up to 20m distance.
The usb receiver is extremely small, roughly 1cm^2.
