Hi Jim, My ERP was in the range of 500 uW.I suggest to monitor the signal on 11904.7619 Hz, just to check that your system is stable over a longer time. This test is very useful. But you'll need the ultra stable reference signal because a PC clock drifts to much! If you do not have a reference signal, some tests using NAA on 24 kHz for the reference (in SpecLab sample rate detector) may work more or less on your side. All this can be tested by tracking the Alpha signal. 73, Stefan/DK7FC Am 16.12.2013 11:20, schrieb hvanesce: Stefan, I did not capture raw A/D data during your 8970.005 transmission yesterday, but I have figured out how to do so and will be ready next time. Based on SNR yesterday at Todmorden and virtually no cultural noise here, it might be possible to extract your signal here with some post-processing of natural noise. Do you have a guess or an estimate of ERP for yesterday's test? 73, Jim AA5BW -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Stefan Schäfer Sent: Sunday, December 15, 2013 3:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: LF: A short VLF experiment at DK7FC Hi Laurence, Am 15.12.2013 22:27, schrieb Laurence KL7 L:Is this the same coil as used for the kites stefan?Yes, it is. 73, Stefan |
