Stefan, Nice clean layout. Are those polypropylene film capacitors on the printed circuit board? If so, great choice; best ESR at high voltage at 10kHz. 73, Jim AA5BW -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Stefan Schäfer Sent: Thursday, December 19, 2013 2:34 PM To: [email protected] Subject: LF: VLF mods Hi VLF, Here i spent some time to modify the VLF PA used during the field experiments. The old version was on a wooden plate (known from the photos in a few amateur radio magazines and images at qrz.com). Now it even has an EMI filter!! :-) and a switch and fuses and a grounded box which is better due to safety aspects (other people could touch it when the plug is in and i'm not watching). Maybe i can replace the fiber optic cable by a simple optocoupler and isolated BNC jack. So far for today: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19882028/VLF/20131219_221825.jpg 73, Stefan/DK7FC |
