Hi Laurence,

wow, that's not too bad either!

It looks like I may have to add JP1OPJ to my opds search list ;-)

Yes the frequency of your Loran would fit GRI 7430, participating stations are Rongcheng, Xuangcheng and (as you said) Helong. The power of an individual line around 137 kHz has been estimated to the order of 50 microwatts. Assuming the lower sideband lines around 74 kHz are similar magnitude, seeing it across the pacific is quite a feat.

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)

Morning Chaps =

74kHz  (10ft diameter Octoloop 17T  1.5nF VE7SL design)

-Hoping to get a full call from Dex when conditions improve up here and near solid from Bob - I I think Im seeing Helong Loran Line (?) at  74,549.1251680 pre dawn ut Im looking at old GRI data calc and probably wrong.

474kHz

Good WSPR2 decodes from WG2XIQ  from 1054-1122Z at around 5000Kms  (2T K9AY East)

136kHz (L400b probe omni)

WSPR15
UAOAET at 1445 @ 5800kms - new one in WSPR I think

Op32
VE7BDQ multiple decodes :-)
JP1OPJ @ 1413  - new one at 3459 miles or so

Congrats to Mike and Dex on the capture!  It's just a matter of sticking it out.  I expect things to get even better as temps drop and soil conductivities increase.  I would hope the noise drops to something like that of 137 noise levels.  May never be as low as that band but hopefully better than it has been here on the "new" top band.
Some very early in the evening captures are very impressive!
Laurence also showed near full call captures last night as I looked at his grabber later on in the evening.
Thanks to Mike and Henny for great work as usual-back at it again tonight!
Bob
