Stefan;
It is same here.  But you can't do everything-transmit and receive at same time no go.
I have a similar PC got from neighbor last season a Samsung less than two years old.  Big difference from little ACER PC!
I think I am going to stick with QRSS 60 for anymore 73 kHz work.  What freq might be best for UK/Euro work?  I understand that 72.4 is not good in UK/Europe.  Seems that 74.5-74.6 seems best from comments I am getting?
Any suggestions appreciated-Bob

Stefan;
I recall you had an old PC.  What did you pick up for your new unit? Bob

Hi Bob,

It's nothing special, about 5 years old. 2 GHz CPU and 2 GB RAM, 800 MHz RAM clock frequency. But now i can run 7 SpecLab instances + WSPR-15 on LF + WSPR-2 on LF + WSPR-2 on MF PERMANENTLY. The CPU load is still below 25% :-)

BTW the soundcard is able to run at 192 kS/s, so theoretically i could set up a 0...96 kHz grabber, including your 74 kHz section. However i do not yet have a suitable RX antenna because they all use low pass filters. Furthermore my location is not really superior for LF reception. Thus it is very unlikely that i can see a trace of you here. The UK hams and some of F are certainly in a better situation. That's why i mostly concentrate on the TX side :-)
