Hi Federico,
Thanks for the summary.
I think that 2...3 UTC is a bit late for a QSO, or a bit early, as you
like to see it ;-)
This night is more realistic for SNR measurements as there are less
lightnings on the path. I was running the TX during the complete day so
if you left the RX running, there will be more decodes and so we will
see.
I've been outside with some friends but now i'm here near the shack. My
CW signal is stronger than my WSPR signal, so maybe there will be a
chance. So if you like to try, even NOW, just give me a note here in an
email. There is some QRN from the east though.
I saw no notes in the DX cluster about G100RSGB and i don't see
anything on my grabber in the moment, so i'll stay QRV in WSPR-2 and
will monitor the grabber (
http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_MF_Grabber.html )
for CW signals from time to time.

On the last night of DK7FC receptions in EA2HB WSPR were distributed as follows:
20h-1 Spot /
21h-4 Spots
/ 22h-4
Spots / 23h-2 Spots / 00h-6 Spots / 01h-2
Spots
02h-9 Spots
/ 03h-1 Spot
Spots of the 02 hours, plus the
most numerous, were the most
consistent in the SNR.
You estimate, reasonable use the
Slot 02-03 UTC to try QSO, or perform a
new test WSPR tonight to confirm trends?
The Slot 00-01 with 6 spots has not been bad, but the
SNR was worse.
I hope your stories before you lose an hour of sleep
to no avail.

LF: WSPR-2 on 630m last night
MF,
To my big surprise there were 2 decodes at WD2XSH/17 last night on
630m. The QRN was terrible last night and there was a LOT of rain so
the losses were high, hence the ERP was quite low!

It is the 21st of June, which is the shortest night in the year here!
Anyway there was a propagation like in winter! Interesting. Could be
due to the small area in darkness in the northern hemisphere? Once
again, another example that shows it is alway worth to expect miracles!
BTW it's winter in VK! :-)
630m to Spain:
Also successful detections at EA2HB with best an SNR up to -19 dB,
average about -23 dB. The database shows that the best time is arround
0 UTC. But due to the QRN, this night is not very representative.
Anyway, promising!
