<Is there any particular reason why you prefer Castle mode from straight DFCW?

dreamers preference I guess.

since 2110UTC the TX will be on the air in carrier only mode.  8970.000Hz (I hope).

the VLF grabber seems to be uploading ok every half hour, as it should.
 
Good luck towards Alaska! Is there any particular reason why you prefer Castle mode from straight DFCW?

PS. Ill stay on the air in CASTLE mode 16666.7sec/dot 1mHz shift or simple carrier for a week or so until Laurence KL1X gets the signs on the screen.
this done Ill try other modes.
