I think it is a good idea to install a hot line between
Laurence and Uwe !
In case that noise drops again, Uwe is called to produce
a finger print... :-)
Perhaps Lurence can take a look with the cursor to
discover at what time that the signal level
did rise suddenly at 05z (???)
Was there somthing special happening at one of both
sites at that moment ?
Like sunrise, rain, snow, dewpoint, Ect....

Hi Laurence,
exciting indeed - is that really Uwe's carrier? Seems too good to be
true... As it's exactly 8970 there could be an artifact from some stable
source, eg. from an injected GPS 1pps (?). Let's hope the noise drops down
again when Uwe does his next frequency step.

Hi
Markus, OK., I should have the site refreshed. <Is there any
particular reason why you prefer Castle mode from straight
DFCW?dreamers preference I guess. since 2110UTC
the TX will be on the air in carrier only mode. 8970.000Hz (I
hope). GL Uwe/dj8wx

Uwe,
the VLF grabber seems
to be uploading ok every half hour, as it should.
Good luck
towards Alaska! Is there any particular
reason why you prefer Castle mode from straight DFCW?

Hi
Markus, thanks for the list, but sri, seems your grabber doesnt
work, see timestamp. GL Uwe/dj8wx PS. Ill stay on the air in
CASTLE mode 16666.7sec/dot 1mHz shift or simple carrier for a week or so until
Laurence KL1X gets the signs on the screen. this done Ill try other
modes.
