Oh, the PA seems to be damaged. This may come from the rain which detunes the antenna and rises the PA losses. Furthermore it is a 15 minute "key-down" transmission and some of the thermal time constants seem to be well below 15 minutes ;-) I will have to repair the PA. Back on air in 1 hour or so. 73, Stefan/DK7FC Am 04.02.2013 17:29, schrieb Stefan Schäfer: Dear LF/MF group,This night i would like to test WSPR-15 on 630m, for the first time. The condx seem to be sub-optimal, anyway, just for the fun.I just changed the TX frequency to (474.2 + 1.615) kHz and will start in 50% mode beginning 16:30 UTC. I'm still running the small 12V PA at about 50W RF power. It's rainy here and the losses are quite high, anyway...Reports are very apprechiated. Vy 73, Stefan/DK7FC |
