Hi Pete,
Well, I think most of us would have spotted
that number, but assumed it was just coincidence.
I do think it would actually be helpful to publish
the callsigns of NoV holders. Not only would it be a good indicator of interest
in the 472kHz band, but would give us a way of checking the other station
actually had one!
I must admit I wasn't going to apply, after the
complicated process with 500kHz, but this is so simple and straightforward I am
now looking forward to getting on the band.
As for the rest of your e-mail, may I suggest a
long lay down in a darkened room?
All the best to you and all LFers for Christmas and
the New Year.

Chris
I will rub along with a majority view.
My statement about the number of NoVs issued was a lie, I am ashamed to
say.
However Geri got the reference.
42 is the incomprehensible answer to the ultimate question of Life, The Universe and
Everything which is less incomprehensible than current NoV for 630m (472/9kc/s). Another answer to the Binary
string 0101010 or the answer to
twice the "key of the door" but we still need a question.
Since Geri was on his way the Restaurant at the edge of the Universe after no doubt downing 6 pints of best bitter or in
Geri's case 3.40957Litres of best Holstein Lager to avoid the
impending approach of the Vogon destructor fleet to build a hyperspace bypass through
Earth starting in the mountains of France; I thought that he may enjoy
pondering this conundrum. However its
all to no avail since the fleet has obviously been withdrawn. Not like the
impending destructor fleet
heading to the M25 in Kent.
Prostetnic Jeltz we know where you live and you don't scare
us!!!
