Hi Dimitris,

Well, i can imagine. But you can be the 5th for the others!
Even lonely beaconing can be fun, look what i'm doing all the year ;-)

What about your new PA? How many hours per day is it running?

I'm getting emails from Edgar in VK7 each day, he is watching each day. I think he would be happy about further test signals. He is more and more active now. I convinced him to try and use his loop for LF. He thought the mini whio is better but the loop is a few dB better, depending on where the QRN comes from. So now he is building the E-H combiner circuit recently shown here by VK7RO, and published by ZL2BBJ ! Building means he has almost finished the board, quick progress.

There is much going on down in VK. Didn't you know? :-) Unfortunately i can't offer a sked or so. We must QSY to above 1800 kHz for that i think...

Good luck with the progress. We're keeping an eye on you.

Hello Stefan,

oh how I miss Europe and the high amateur radio operator density of that place!

Over here, I think, the best operator active on LF/MF meeting
consisted of four people earlier this year at the Wyong field day. The
highest number of signals captuired on the same spectrogram on LF is
four. My grabber has been operational for over a year now and it has
not captured more than half a dozen different callsigns, one being
yours and one from Japan...

Hello Christian, MF,

I just came back from the "UKW Tagung" in Weinheim/Bensheim. It focuses
mainly on UKW but also the lower bands. Last year there was a presentation
about 8.97 kHz and i met DF6NM the first time. This year i met some more of
the prominent LF/MF people arround there, such as PA3FWM (Twente web sdr),
DJ2LF, DK4VW(the man who worked for us on the WRC12 to get the 630m band). I
also met DJ8ES who is a newcomer below 1 MHz. He starts to arrange a nice MF
station and has been detected by several stations in the UK in OP4 so far.
He has to do some modifications to be QRV in CW and has to add some dBs here
and there but soon there will be one more active station there!
Bought several new parts for LF/MF. A nice day!

I can see some MF activity on the DM4TR grabber but i'm not QRV tonite on
MF. But tomorrow, will you be there?
