Yes, and with some luck they (not all but many) will solder a christmas
tree with some green LEDs (e.g. http://www.df0wl.de/projekte.html)
and/or will buy a 2m/70cm FM hand TRX, will do some packet radio or APRS
and 2 years later they are gone...
Normally and regularly using the bands without becoming tired to have
QSOs with some nice content (here called rag-chewing) is rare :-(
But there are exceptions :-)

But if you don't .. they'll not come.
Ok for the sked :)

Hi Giorgio,
You're 39? That's fine! So you're my generation :-) I'm 36 and thought
i'm alone :-)
Can we make a sked in 2050? :-)

Sure, Alan.
The commercial unleaded solder are really a problem.
Manual soldering is working surely better, surely if you've got
experience.
I've got a couple of wellers too, the WECP20. Unbeatable. The first have
been
Bought when I was 16.... now I'm 39 :)
As a child of 8 years i was fascinated by the very flexible metallic
wire (the solder) and used a big 110W hand-iron with a wooden hold.
No i prefer a Ersa Analog 60 solder station. It is easy to replace the
tip while it is on 450 °C...
