VLF,Now the TX is running. No HV problems this time. I'm running 500W. The coil current is close to 1A so the antenna current may be 850mA, 3 dB more than in november 2011. The frequency is 8970.0050 Hz, "locked" to GPS within SpecLab.I'm going to transmit a loooooooooong carrier until 9 UTC or so. Then i'll play arround a bit, depending on the results of local grabbers and activity. Reports apprechiated.I thought about giving WOLF10 (or 5) a try, as an exception. DF6NM would be the intended goal but everyone is invited to receive. If i will try WOLF then i have to use an unlocked frequency, i.e. just using the normal WOLF gui program. Anyway, at least no glitches on that 10 year old PC, hopefully. 73, GL, Stefan/DK7FC PS: Odd, still 12 °C outside at 1 AM local... |
