The time gain over DFCW may help with completely capturing your call. That mode is included in SpecLab so it would be no problem. I never used it so far. I've just done a test, generating my call in a spectrogram using your settings, see attached. That's not really nice i find. Maybe a bit more time efficient but quite confusing when signals are buried in the noise. In DFCW you know the dashes are only present on 2 frequencies. So the shift is defined. That is an additional information that becomes relevant when the characters are still not clearly detectable. So i will go on in DFCW-180.
