Hello John, A Schottky diode was used to minimize the voltage drop. However this is not an important issue.On an other note, instead of the trusty 2N5109 a BFQ19, a modern rf transistor, can be used. It gives slightly better IMD figures in this circuit, especial at lower supply voltages. 73, Roelof, pa0rdt |
