Bonjour Jean-Pierre, Group.
Glad to hear your QRM problem is fixed. There have been some
problems here as well. Perhaps the QRM was due to arcing at
this QTH yesterday when another relay became fried.
As promised, some tinkering about the was conducted
this afternoon. The class E TX was misbehaving and the Decca
guard currents were abnormal. The investigation then moved to
the antenna base. A pungent odour and evidence of a wee accident
(see attached) were noted when the ATU box was opened. Evidently
1 cm is not a sufficient gap for the relay and even one inch was
determined to be marginal after some exciting experiments.
With any luck the Decca and tower will QRV early tomorrow 0100 utc.
73 and thanks
Joe

Thank-you again, Henny. Was testing the new tower last
night. It was strange that the sigs you saw were not on the F1AJF
The grabber is very desensitized by a local QRM currently (-10à15 dB)
I hope that that that is not going to last too long ! in the past I already
had
this kind of QRM, and him extinct......
