Thank-you again, Henny. Was testing the new tower last
night. It was strange that the sigs you saw were not on the F1AJF
grabber but John's XES was there. There wil be more tinkering with
QRO and the tower today. Incidently the 1800/137 kHz antenna relay
seems to be working. VK3ZK responded to a CQ on 1825 yesterday and
your report on 137.777 last night was with the relay in the open
position. The gap is about 1 cm which seems OK for 2 of the 3
Decca modules. The RF current (~4A) fluctuates a bit when 3 modules are
engaged, suggesting there might be arcing, but the tower didn't have
a blue glow when transmitting! Strangely the DC current was less
than 10 A -- it is normally just over 20. Perhaps Decca is folding back
from a mismatch? There was no problem with the 100 watt class E hovever.
