Mal,

What i like is a real QSO, not more reports. There is almost nothing going on on LF, so why stress yourselfe with short QSOs? Why building up a complex RX/TX LF system and then doing 30 second QSOs? THAT would be wasted time!
Actually a QSO starts AFTER exchanging name, report, and locator. Then the question is if someone has to tell something. But many people are bored by others and themselfe. This is why contesting is so polular. Exchanging that stupid "599" nonsense even if the call has to be repeated several times!?!

The are some well skilled CW OPs like DK4AN (very popular in DL) and many UK OPs who are able to tell something interesting! In 2003 i've often been /m on 40m CW and had wonderful QSO with G stns, sometimes taking 2 hours at >125 Bpm. This is amatuer radio!

Some weeks ago i had a DFCW-3 QSO with OK2BVG that took longer than 1.5 hours. What we have is T I M E !!!

If i do the effort and drive with the car on a hill and build up a station and the same backwards, what do i want with a 30 second QSO?

Think about that!

Jim, LF,

I will go out of the city now, for a CW QSO on 136.5 kHz. Have already
prepared the LF system and link.
No lightnings so far in a radius of 1000km and above.

QRV in 30 Minutes.

Dear Stefan, LF Group,

At least now the band seems quiet. Not sure how it will be in the
evening. Since i want to try from /p i need a sked, at least 2 hours
before. Do we want to try in the evening again?

I can be available from about 1530utc onwards this evening - I would
suggest trying before darkness, as SNR will probably be better then.
If you would like to try this evening, let me know when you expect to
be at your /P location.

Cheers, Jim Moritz
