I am afraid the tone of the article makes me a skeptic :-))

I have to agree with Alan - it has all the ingredients... The astonishing new discovery that so completely overturns the current laws of physics ... the remarkable results of tests, unencumbered by details of what they actually mean... and the obligatory paranoid bit at the end in response to received criticism...

This has been discussed before on the reflector - I think the conclusion was that it would be possible to make a ferrite cored loop antenna with sensitivity limited by the natural noise floor, but it would be rather big and heavy, so an air-cored loop is more practical. I will try and retrieve some details later - in the meantime, I need to lie down quietly in a darkened room for a while. Well it is past bedtime ;-)
