Have you done the CW QSOs with the hand key? Very good! Maybe we can repeat that on 137 in some time? :-)

It is is an old Junker military key made in DL...

I think with this antenna, QTH, and my existing 200W PEP rig, it should be possible to get near 1W ERP on 136kHz. The only additional item needed here is a suitable low-loss loading coil. The Q of the resonated antenna I guess would be about 200 - 300, which might be a bit critical for adjustment... Chu-Wheeler again I suppose!
