Dear Roger,

What is the actual limiting factor on reception with the different antennas? I presume by "best results" you mean best SNR - but is the predominant noise the band QRN or local man-made stuff?
Also, you mention that positioning of the loop was critical - in what way, 
and how was the loop oriented with respect to the TX source?
