Dear Andy, LF Group,The SNR for your beacon received here is up by 3-4dB, so in line with expectations. And talking of test loads. The 1kW 1GHz Bird attenuator increases its attenuation value as it gets warm. My dummy load behaves in the same way - it may be the same as you have, it is a Bird Tenuline model 8327.
