 the max message size is around 100kb I think maybe a bit more.

There is a workaround, however.....
Place the image on a Web server, and compose your message in HTML with
an  <img  tag pointing to that file on the Web server. The size of the message
will result of just a few kB, but your image will be displayed. This is a technique
that I use often, specially when posting on Yahoo groups that do not allow attachments.
It works...

This is an example, with a photo of Scarlett Johansson, sligthly OT, but nevertheless
highly enjoyable.....
