Daniele,
There is a limit to the size of attachments. It used to be only 30KB or
so, but recently I've seen larger files, so perhaps it's been raised,
but I don't know what the limit actually is.
However, as you've seen, if you send an attachment that's larger than
the limit the message is dropped, with no warning or error message. Can
you reduce the size of the JPEGs and try again.
