Two RX options.
FT817 and a 500KHz SDR RX (modified Softrock Lite V6.2 for 160m)
TX options.
Had built a M0BMU TX PA unit long time ago (but never added PA
MOSFET's) as no NoV at the time.
I have both ceramic osc (either 4/8MHz), a FCC1/FCC2 AD DDS, K5BCQ
Si570 DDS or AMQRP DDS-60 all that can be fed into a 4020 or 4060
divider to obtain 501-504KHz signal. Then into 4427 and M0BMU TX or a
two stage 2N3904 buffer and then PA.
I have an 11W (at 160m) bipolar transformer PA that could be used as
well as a couple IRF50 options.
Been sent a copy of the GW3UEP schematic which is another 4/8MHz
oscillator and divider/pa stage.
I might, If you know the ECL82 glowbug circuit I was going to try and
recreate using an ECL84 (triode/pentode) and grind a 500KHz crystal.
Expect will be keying things manually initially, QRS, as per xband
80m/500KHz qso from 2008, so sql cards hopefully.
Ant will be inverted L with 10m vertical section and c40m horizontal.
VSWR meter almost complete as located some 3C85 toroids and some
2SC2166 for the PA so maybe a Marathon???
7 pole LPF ready.
