Hi Dominic

Congrats. on getting your NOV for 600m. I understand that you have been receiving OK, if so you are halfway there as the sigs are so weak compared with noise. I use various loops and a PA0RDT mini-whip for receiving. The latter seems to be the best all round solution for me. My TX antenna is a 'T' type 10m vertical (though zig-zags a bit before entering the shack) with a 19.5m top (longest I can get in my garden). Using a GW3EUP tx running just over 20w, I can qso Finbar in Derry Ireland, and have been reported by a German listener in Cuxhaven.

Hi all,

I just RX my SRP/NoV for 501-504kHz.
Hope to have my station up and running for TX as soon as possible.
Thanks for all those who since 2008 have so far had a cross band qso
perhaps we can manage a qso on 500kHz now.
Will focus on CW initially.
