Thank you all for your kind input and advice. I'm still investigating the causes
of this problem. I chose to sum up my comments in one reply:

>Paul-Henrik gave two frequencies: 171kHz and 225kHz (i can't see how they

I also couldn't find any logical relationship in these two frequencies. I've
been hunting "duplicates" of the programmes running on 171 and 225 kHz and for
171 kHz I have found at least two duplicates in the MW-band. One is 135 kHz
above the very strong 630 kHz (but 630 kHz audio is not present in the phantom
signal and this could theoretically be one reason). However, for the stronger
phantom signal similar to the audio on 225kHz I have not found any other
frequencies. Is there a remote possibility for 3 x 225 kHz -/+ 135 kHz to
generate a mixing product with fully intelligeble audio of the 225 kHz signal
on 135 kHz?

I don't recognize the Lakihegy telegrams riding on the "splatter". Perhaps my
usage of the term splatter is incorrect here, after all it is the high
frequencies of the USB signal I'm hearing. Lakihegy and 225kHz do line up quite
well as seen from here.

> I forwarded my friends engineers from Solec Kujawski about your problem.

This is very kind of you. However I hope they understand there are no hard facts
at this moment pointing to a fault at their end.

Victor, do you specifically hear the same BC-source(s) as I do?
