I've got another monitoring prog that works on similar signal detection principles but a bit more rigorously and was designed for monitoring a continuous signal such as beacons.    That S/W is a bit more fiddly to play with than the GB3RAL.EXE plug-and-play one, but more versatile - written for experimenting with.    The source code is there as well.

Go to  http://www.g4jnt.com/dspsw.htm   and look for UWBCNMON.

Sundown comes in about 1 hour and the ARGO, RAL/PLX, Spectravue are all set on DI2AM, usually the first EU signal that pops through...

I will see what ARGO yields as the time approaches, and what RAL/PLX sees for a total of 12 minutes per hour, as well as the Spectrum from the SDR receiver...

RAL/PLX should be a great QRSS / CW / WSPR beacon monitor/detector / frequency meter...

As all goes well, will shift over to Mel and Gary frequency and see for same...

Its a bit noisey right now...  ( must be the ripple on  )
