LOOK AFTER would imply Appliance. Assume you are looking after
Shetland mountain goat.jpg. If you can milk the goat or dehorn a
goat that would promote you from Appliance to Amateur operator goat.
I am sure you understand the humour, its the best way that I can put
it.

Okay then....

I would be expected to deliver the kid, perform open heart
surgery on the nanny, castrate the billy.

I would be on 24/7 standby in case of goat illness or accident, but not
just for goats - I'd be expected to deal with sheep, elephants,
gorillas and terrapins as well.

I'd have to look into the DNA of the ocelots and decide if the Maker
had slipped up while designing them, and if so come up with a breeding
plan to improve the stock, and make sure all the other farms appplied
the same cure too.

I'd nurse along the last remaining dodos until Dodo-Switch-Over, then I
would have to rectify any genetic disorders with the new breed of fowl
that has been delivered to the zoo to replace the dead dodos.

I'd have to climb into the tallest treetops to inspect and repair any
ultra-high frequency ants I found up there. I have to make sure all the
feed dishes stay in place for various lynx.

I have to keep the deionized water supply nice and pure for the steam
cooled goat houses.

Milking and de-horning a goat is child's play. That's what the
apprentices do....
