Interesting propagation on  MF , during my  drive to  work, I sometimes tune into  Manx radio on 1368 Khz ( about 75 miles north of me over the Irish sea)

This morning, I noted a lot of qsb on the signal and quite mushy audio at the end of the 20  mile south  trip, this increasing the range, but normally the audio is quite clean.

On the return trip at 1530 clock time, I could clearly hear a second station, on the same frequency, in the qsb dip's

Has a 'new' station started on 1368 ? or is this  enhanced  propagation due to the extended lack of solar activity ?
