A point of interest also is the paucity of knowledge among the populace in
general about the simple basics of GPS etc. I still come across considerable
numbers of people who believe their satnavs are actually being "tracked" by the
satellites! This phenomenon is, of course, often accompanied by even stranger
explanations of how speed camera systems work. It's possible, therefore, that to
expect politicians to understand such things may be "a bridge too far"!
In the race
of life put a big bet on the nag named "Self-Interest" - He will always be in
there trying hard !
