OK I can not tell a lie we were testing 45.45 baud 170Hz shift on
503. 20:30 onwards not my transmission however but I was
involved.
You know my views about 501 has now become a beacon band which really
renders it unusable for any thing other than beacons. Especially if there is a
local station that insists on being on nonstop 24 hours a day. Luckily its not
too bad here but the request for the best type of RX for 501 the other day, I
resisted saying the best RX for this band is an Intel Pentium4 PC with a good
internet e-mail connection!!!!....... :-)
