I had a question posed by a DL station about the legality of working us

We used to have X band QSOs on 73kHz without official problems.

My first contact like this was with F6CNI on 28/3/98 73kHz/80m. We also used to have X band contacts (136kHz/80m) with countries who had not received 136kHz approval at the time of the QSO.
