Just had a short look at www.emwg.info and found the following info:

G - Virgin 1215, various (0.004-200) - 24h; txs in Dartford Tunnel (0.004), 
Hull (0.320), Fareham (1), Lanner (Redruth) (2), Plymouth (1.1), Postwick 
(1.2), Wrekenton (2.2), Redmoss (2.3), Lisnagarvey (16), Washford (100), 
Westerglen (100), Brookmans Park (125), Droitwich (105) and Moorside Edge (200 
kW)

So there's plenty of tx locations around.
