Hallo Alberto!

Thanks for your report of beacon OK0EMW. I am glad to receive your e-mail, becouse I would like to tell you about my SDR receiver:

Selective preamplifier with two tubes (+35dB, 3.5kHz narrow, noise -110dB) >>>SDRadio home made >>>PC with two sound cards and software WinRadio 1.25 (!) I have got an other receivers for low bands as well, but this configuration is doing the very well. I have tested some softwares for SDR, but your WinRad is the best for my experiments on 500kHz.

 Hello Lubos,

congratulations for your SDR implementation ! Tubes are still alive, I see ! And thanks for the nice words about Winrad. Version 1.30 will be ready in a month or so, and it will have a better support for Perseus.

New SDR Perseus seems very interesting. Sorry, but I think that software for Perseus won´t be applicable for other SDR, for example SDR-IQ. I will have got SDR-IQ in some weeks.

No sorry. That software will work only with the Perseus hardware. But the
SDR-IQ is a good receiver too, I have one.

GL on 500kHz! I am sure, you will produce as good softwares as WinRad is in the future.

Thanks, and good luck to you too with your beacon and experiments !
