LF: Charging an SLA at 17 volts

Hi Alan,

I should have made it clearer in my first post.  I'm not going to
connect an unregulated solar panel to a 12 volt sealed battery!
My plan is to make up a custom battery for the job out of the
correct number of cells.  I've learned a few things after being
partially off-grid for over seven years now.  My only regret
is that I should have bought more panels when they where
cheaper...I thought the price would go down, not up!!
