Well , the tuning is rahter sharp.... I think a possible source of trouble might be the antenna current meter itself. It is rather close to the loading coil. I'm using a metal (!) tube from an old surplus TX which is going through the core which is used for measuring the antenna current. Maybe I have problems with magnetic fields somewhere. I'll do some tests later. Now going outside working on the system. Keep an eye on 136.3kHz for my CW beacon or any tuning etc....maybe QRV in 10 minutes or so. 14-15utc Dick |
