We have those same damn weeds in Minnesota. What are they called? They can even kill off a young tree when they wrap around tight.

I suspected I was getting behind with the weeding (see attachment) - that explains the erratic antenna current!
 
BTW - strong QRSS "Test" signal from G3XIZ on 137.686 this morning
