I'm about to have a play with Scott's new PhaseScope, but I can tell you
that I have been getting very good results using another program based on
the same technique, also using Peter's clever ideas. This software is
Clicklock by Con ZL2AFP (contact him for a copy).
I have been able to detect DCF77 at 18,000km range (4 to 8AM local time), and excellent copy of the Califorian FSK station 135950Hz 25Hz, among others. Con has been able to detect my own signal on 181kHz during the daytime in a noisy location - I was running only 100mW (that's 4uW EIRP) at a range of 500km. My LF Exciter is capable of GPS coherent transmission - more about that in a separate email. 73, Murray ZL1BPU |
