I doubt that it could be a Loran line. The nearest Loran system in frequency used to be Loran A with a centre frequency just above 1900kHz. It was the bane of Topband DXers but was shut down years ago. 73 John G3PAI *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 05/01/2006 at 18:27 Gary - G4WGT wrote: Hi All, After looking at Dex's MedFER pages I am monitoring with SpecLab & QRSS10 around 1700Khz & I can see a very straight & continuous line on my display, could this be a Loran Line or something else such a U.S. Hi-MedFER beacon. It seems to be at 1705.045Khz or very near that frequency. Regards, Gary - G4WGT - IO83qp Web : http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/wgtaylor |
