Dear all I thought I'd run the grabber on the US window to see how Rugby affects the region around 137.777 and it occurs to me that I can use the lines to calibrate my receiver exactly. Can anyone tell me the exact fequency of the Rugby Loran line at about 137.781? Dear Dave, LF Group, The Rugby Loran lines are at frequencies of n x 1 / (2 x 63710us), or n x 7.4283167434259396820680433813698Hz (give or take), where n is an integer, and 63710us is the GRI of the Lessay chain. For this one, n is 18548, the frequency is 137780.418957 to the nearest micro-hertz :-) Cheers, Jim Moritz 73 de M0BMU |
