I like the idea of omitting default information from the transmission.
This philosophy can be extended even further: Default QSOs can be had
without sending anything at all! Signal reports are not needed as no
signals are transmitted. No need to send your own callsign because the
other station doesn't listen anyway and no need to send his callsign
because he already knows it.

Information that deviates from the default can be sent through another
channel e.g. e-mail.

There is a lot of advantages. For example, a considerable reduction of
both transmitter power and antenna size is possible. It may even be
possible to use an artificial antenna.
