Wolf,an easy way to get the 25% signals would be to use a Johnson counter (eg. One differenceis the duty cycle of the switching waveforms (if one would use a fourfold analog switch like the HC4066) for the "Tayloe":For Tayloe switches, it would be 1 / 4 (each switch conducts 25 % of the whole cycle) For the classic image cancelling mixer, the duty cycle is 1 / 2 (50 % conduction in the cycle). Unfortunately the simple quadrature L.O. with two flipflops cannot be modified (without extra components) to produce the "Tayloe"-switching waveforms.Best greetings, Wolf DL4YHF . |
