It is very good Easter news for LF-enthusiasts and especially for
Europeans ! - first Eu signal received in ZL - CONGRATS Bob ZL2CA and
Sam RN6BN!
This is distance abt 16438km (RE78IR - KN95LC) in LA0FX's soft - new
world's 1-way QSO record on 136kHz band!
But calculation of distances between two points a very hard task for the very
large distances.. The majority of the programs consider the Earth as
absolutely round...but no fearl!...
All distances in the my table "Best QSOs" (http://136.73.ru/h_qso/index.htm )
are calculated by the program LA0FX and in basic on QTH-loc (distance centre to
centre of QTH-locs -> mistake up to abt 10km).
PSE inform me abt programs takes into account unspheric of the Earth - I'm
recalculated mine tables (some in geographic coordinates).
I nor am sure in completeness of my tables - PSE correct my info!
Bob ZL2CA and Sam RN6BN, PSE inform us abt yours RX - TX setups under
this beautiful receptions.
